We woke up before 6am and by 6:30am we were already back on track. In the distance we could admire Mount Shasta together with the colorful sunrise. Soon after we left the ridge we entered a jungle. Most of the time the trail was not even visible and we were just trying to fight our way through all the bushes. It is crazy how many parts of the trail are seriously overgrown. During one of many bushwhacking I unfortunately lost my Kula (Pee) Cloth so I need to get a new one. In a few hours we made our way to a mountain ridge again and the views were amazing. Trees mixed with sand and colorful flowers all around us. During noon we took a lunch break and dried all of our stuff in the sun. 

In the afternoon we mostly stayed on the ridge and enjoyed a flowy trail with breathtaking views of the surroundings as a bonus. We also managed to get a trail angel for our upcoming stay in Mount Shasta which we are super happy about. Later in the afternoon we picked up our pace and finally made it to our tentsite by 8:15pm. It was more of a dirt road with spots on the side for potential camping but it was more than enough. Dinner was unfortunately already during nightlight but still as tasty as always. Tomorrow we have one more full day before getting to Mount Shasta on Thursday.
